The jazz lounge at Catch 35 Chicago has become a popular destination spot to hear great music while enjoying drinks and food around the Catch 35 Jazz Lounge and Piano Bar.

Whether you have a group looking for a spot before seeing a performance at one of the many theatres located near Catch 35, or just entertaining coworkers or clients, you can do so while enjoying live jazz from the Eric Hochberg Trio. Our lounge features an ever changing roster of critically acclaimed jazz musicians from all over the U.S. Catch 35 Chicago features live jazz Tuesday through Saturday.

Tuesday, May 30th:  Trombonist Andy Baker

One of Chicago’s busiest musicians, Andy lends his virtuoso playing to numerous ensembles including his own big band, the New Standard Jazz Orchestra. He also directs the jazz program at the University of Illinois Chicago.

Wednesday, May 31st:  Saxophonist Scott Burns

Possessing a warm, expressive sound, an energetic rhythmic feel, and formidable melodic and harmonic insight, Scott has been a fixture on the Chicago jazz scene since 1998. Scott performs regularly with the Chicago Jazz Orchestra among many other groups.

Thursday, June 1st:  Vocalist Kimberly Gordon

Kim is one of Chicago’s “swinging-est” jazz vocalists, bringing “old school” sensibility to her music. She was a weekly regular at the famed Green Mill jazz club for 15 years and we are happy to welcome her to Catch 35!

Friday, June 2nd:  Guitarist John Moulder

John is a fiery and inventive performer who has been a favorite of both the public and his fellow musicians for over twenty-five years. Along with producing his own critically acclaimed albums, he is the founder and director of the annual week long Chi-town Jazz Festival for Hunger Relief.

Saturday, June 3rd:  Vocalist Suzanne Palmer

Suzanne has a powerful and soulful jazz style that has graced the stage at Catch 35 for many years. She is acclaimed internationally as a progressive trance, club-dance and house music singer and producer with hits with the group, Club 69.
