Mark has performed and recorded with the Bee Gees, Dr. John, Frank Sinatra, Wilson Pickett, Mose Allison, Maynard Ferguson, Bob James and many others. He has released eight critically acclaimed albums under his own name and teaches at Elmhurst College. Mark’s intensely lyrical sound is a favorite at Catch 35!

Wednesday, June 28th-Guitarist Zvonimir Tot

Zvonimir has a style deeply rooted in the jazz tradition, yet flavored by his European origin. When not teaching at University of Illinois, he performs around Chicago and has tours internationally. We’re happy to welcome Zvonimir on his Catch 35 debut!

Thursday, June 29th-Vocalist Alyssa Allgood

While just out of college, Alyssa has already been recognized by Downbeat Magazine and Grammy winning writer Neil Tesser, who describes her style as “radiant…strong and coolly expressive… sings with a maturity marked by restraint and nuance”.  Her new album, “Out of the Blue” launched to critical acclaim. 

Saturday, July 1st-Vocalist Bobbi Wilsyn

An exciting and soulful jazz/blues singer, Bobbi has been a Chicago favorite since her days with the Milt Trenier Show and the musicals “Beehive”, “Sophisticated Ladies” and “It Ain’t Nothin’ But the Blues”. She is also a featured performer with the Chicago Jazz Ensemble and is Senior Lecturer (voice) at Columbia College.
